Arielle Gottesman, BSW, MSW, T.S. graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from McGill University and went on to complete her Masters of Social Work at the University of Toronto. Arielle has provided both short term and long-term supportive counselling to individuals in community, hospital, and clinic settings. After over ten years as a professional social worker, Arielle is motivated and humbled to work alongside her clients. Arielle creates a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing any challenge that you are facing. Her warm, empathetic and human approach ensures a judgment free zone.

Arielle focuses on your strengths to help you build your confidence in supporting yourself. Arielle uses evidence based therapeutic techniques such as active listening, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy to help her clients achieve their goals.

Arielle is there to support you in navigating the myriad of life challenges that you are facing, together. Arielle’s specialties include learning how to cope with symptoms of anxiety, depression, isolation, workplace and caregiver burnout. After every session, Arielle wants you to walk away feeling lighter – like you have taken off a heavy backpack.
